Total Devastation

We have just heard from our founder trustee, Catherine,  along with Gyaljen (also founder trustee) in Nepal,  who narrowly escaped being crushed in a landslide whilst delivering aid to villages of Solu and Dolake, (the epicentre of where the second earthquake hit.)  If they had been 30 minutes earlier or later they would not have come back.  Devastatingly, 40 villagers travelling to meet the consignment of rice and aid, only 5km away, were tragically killed in the landslide.  Gyaljen and Catherine were on a treacherous mountain road at 11,000ft below the landslide, “the mountains were raining boulders the size of cars, whole villages, hundreds were crushed…this is what we were standing under when the second earthquake struck.”

These facts are hard to digest…. all we can say is THANK YOU to those who have helped by donating….. your donations are directly helping hundreds of remote villages where until now aid had not yet reached.
